Stunt driver Alastair Moffat has quickly – at 40mph to be exact – become a parking pioneer with this mind-blowing manoeuvre in a Mini.

The video below shows Alastair reversing into a tight parking space with just a combined distance of  34cm between the two cars. The effort has earned him the Guinness World Record for the tightest parallel park in reverse.

He has beaten the previous record by a mere 1cm, managing to park his Mini in the tiny space with an impressive J-turn into a handbrake turn. It has to be seen to be believed, so here you go:

“‘Ave it! Yes!” comes the modest call from the car, as Moffat punches the air in triumph. Very impressive!
